Feeling a bit adventurous, I ordered one of Freeman's featured items: the catfish sandwich with egg & cheese. It was very tasty. They also have a really good pork chop sandwich here that features a generous size chop. I haven't had anything here that wasn't good. Nothing fancy or flashy about this place. Just a plain old country grill, run by a friendly welcoming family, who creates some darn good flavorful food at a fair price. I like it.

What a wonder little place on the way home from oak island. The food was great and the guys that own it are amazing men! They pour their heart into this food. This will be our new stop for years to come! Go support this local business especially if you want to support men who served our country and are Christians.

Food was bomb. Just takes a little bit of time to get your food if it's busy. Uncle Ruckus puts the special seasoning on the catfish and it Came out hottt and fresh. Cheeseburger was very good along with the hotdog. Fried okra was real good and home breaded. Heard the catfish egg and cheese was the best thing for breakfast!

Worth the stop! We've driven past Freeman's several times & decided to give it a try. We called in a breakfast order which was ready & hot when we arrived. Breakfast sandwiches, grits, & we had to try the fried okra which did not disappoint. We'll be back!

Get there early for Chicken and Waffles! Or suffer through a juicy, handpattied burger, either all the way with chili, slaw and mustard, or your way (and they have all the toppings)! And/Or their homemade onion rings that are thick, with delicious breading that sticks all the way around And is Perfectly cooked! Their service is fast and courteous, please Give time to make Your food, it's worth waiting for. You cannot go wrong with anything made with love in this kitchen! Make sure to ask what their special is!

This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I were heading to Charlotte and this place popped up. It is just off 74. My boyfriend got the double cheeseburger and onion rings and he said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I got the double hamburger and fried okra... OMG! I loved the burger and it's on the top of my list too. As for the fried okra it was hot, fresh and the best I've ever had. The service was fast and super friendly. We got it to go because of our dog but just from the outside and bathrooms the place was really clean and neat. Big bonus they had a place to walk our dog!! Definitely coming back!

On my way home from Southport, and I stopped by Freeman's for a jumbo shrimp burger, which had about 4 huge shrimp that were lightly battered. Very good with some slaw and tartar sauce. Wife got a hot dog, and it was good. Onion rings were big, with a real onion slice inside. I got their lemonade which was good, but tasted like a powdered mix. Good find. Check it out.
